Great Customer Experience is one of the keys to Nevro’s success. The Technical Support Specialist is one of the few roles in Nevro that has a direct customer touchpoint to resolve product and therapy questions or issues. This role is critical to ensure that the customer is served as best as we can to ensure that our product and therapy continues to deliver much needed relief to our customers.   The position requires good listening, verbal and written communication skills to accurately present technical information to our non-technical customers.  Good organizational and multi-tasking skills is a must to succeed in this high paced environment.   Successful candidates will need to have a good technical background with good problem solving skills.  The primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve active implantable medical devices issues by means of communication with the patients, doctors and field representatives, and simultaneously document the communication in approved system. - Answer phone calls from customers and patients, reply to emails from customers, patients and sales reps and document issues generated from company’s social media sites. - Provide technical or clinical information to patients, doctors, and our field representatives with appropriate technical information to resolve product or procedural inquiries. - Responds to situations where the first line of support has failed to resolve customer hardware and software issues. - Use a combination of procedures and sound judgement to ensure that all inputs from all sources are evaluated for potential product complaints. - Initiate all complaints in a timely and compliant manner as per process requirements. - Conduct Good Faith Effort to follow-up on complaints as required. - Help processing and closing complaints as needed or requested. - Thoroughly document all information in various systems and ensure that all pertinent data is gather for efficient and thorough processing of product issues. - Co-ordinate with other departments to help with information and data gathering from patients and customers. - Documents all contacts via an approved tracking system per internal, FDA and ISO requirements. - Maintain proper individual and team metrics to monitor and participate in projects to improve existing processes. - Refine existing procedures or processes to include new knowledge from the field. - Able to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices. - Provide on call coverage after hours routinely. - Participate in departmental projects as assigned. - Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Nevro Legal group is looking for a Privacy Program Manager Intern who will focus on developing and implementing Nevro’s Privacy program. We’re looking for a grad student or recent MA/MS grad, with a strong interest in the growing field of international and U.S. privacy. You’ll work closely with the AGC/Privacy Officer to develop the program which includes the risk assessment process, privacy policies, subject access requests, data inventory renewals, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA). You’ll partner with cross-functionally with Legal/Compliance Team, Customer Service and IT Security. This is a paid internship and will take into account your school class schedule. This position is in Redwood City, California.   The Specialist, Therapy Excellence (STE) serves as the technical expert on Nevro products.  The incumbent is responsible for development of programming algorithms and all therapy training for the internal teams. The STE is the liaison between the Field Clinical Engineers and the field teams, ensuring best practices are applied to the therapy in a standardized, consistent fashion. This is a remote opportunity, preferably a candidate located in northeast or central region.  - Becomes an expert in Nevro’s HF10 therapy as well as training and application of the therapy - Designs the therapy training program from initial onboarding to ongoing education modules - Creates content for all therapy training activities - Delivers therapy training via a variety of mediums including in person, virtual and online - Collaborates with Sales Leadership to identify gaps in therapy knowledge and creates action plan to address - Analyzes programming reports to identify opportunities for further training and improvements to programming application - Creates automated reports for Sales Leadership to monitor the adherence to the HF10 programming algorithm and recommendations for other frequencies - Serves as a primary resource for therapy support to field teams, including but not limited to troubleshooting and lead placement - Provides input to and collaborates with R&D on the development of new products - Provides follow-up support to field teams by disseminating technical information - This position requires driving and travelling to visit customers.  In addition, the use of the telephone and keyboard on a daily basis.  Carrying company equipment on trips will include laptops, chargers, brochures, as well as procedure equipment. - Hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, surgical centers.  Travel up to 40% depending on relative locations of customers - Other duties as assigned

The person in this position is responsible for the accurate and effective transaction of material flow through our remote operations.  They will work closely with contract manufacturers (CMOs), suppliers, field personnel and other departments to ensure that tracking processes are maintained and will help identify and implement improvements to these processes.  This person will be responsible for accurately maintaining item master, bill of material, and other master data in our ERP and integrated systems.  They will monitor and communicate with field personnel on the efficient utilization of field inventory.  Some off-site travel may be necessary to perform inventory reconciliations. - Primary responsibility for transacting specific inventory movements in the ERP and SalesForce systems - Analyze the flow of material across multiple CMOs/suppliers and field personnel to identify potential problems and implement solutions - Input new product, bill of material, and associated master data into ERP system with a focus on accuracy. This includes initiating necessary change control requests in the Arena software. - Monitor inventory utilization with distribution centers and field personnel. This position will apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices for software development for implantable medical devices and accessories. - Review and approve the design and development of the Mobile app, incorporating feedback from Product Management, User Experience, Architecture, and Quality Engineering. - Collaborate with back end application developers to design and refine APIs for sending and retrieving data to and from the mobile application. - Develop and maintain test frameworks and interactive testing, including working with beta testers. - Instrument with analytics to understand and communicate usage and adoption models of the app. - Provide subject matter expertise on mobile design practices, from experience to stability and performance. Mobile is different, and you need to know why and be able to drive a viewpoint. - Works closely with other product development team members to assure that their designs interface properly with other system components and to assure that the overall system meets its performance requirements. - Contributes to the intellectual property base of the Company via active communication of new concepts to Management. - Works in accordance with quality system procedures and actively enforces its objectives - Other duties as assigned

The Senior Development Engineer – Electrical plays a key role in the development of a Class III implantable Neuromodulation system for pain management. - This is a senior role and candidates are expected to lead and define significant or whole portions of planning, developing, coordinating, and directing development across complex products, directing internal and external resources accordingly. - Ideal candidates are expected to illustrate technical leadership and influence in each of the duties and responsibilities: - Direct the design and development of class III implantable Neuromodulation systems and other accessories (remotes, chargers, test systems, manufacturing equipment, etc.): - Design Electronic Circuits – Including: - Embedded Systems - Mixed Analog/Digital Circuits - Power Circuits - Electrical, Schematics, Layout - Component Selection, Characterization and Assembly - Distinct Designs for Various Stages of Development - Characterize the performance of hardware with medical accuracy. - Reproduce and analyze field failed hardware. - Train our contract manufacture engineers and technicians on troubleshooting. - Improve our product/system reliability and maintainability. - Design, run, and gather data for experiments.
