Job Summary & Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring professional and efficient service for IT's customer base, addressing day-to-day IT needs and project-based IT assistance. This role encompasses various aspects of IT within the company, including but not limited to:

  • Software Deployment

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for Nevro infrastructure (clients, server, storage, network) and platforms (Office 365, Box, Okta, etc.).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Build, patch, test (check for compatibility issues, conduct QA), and deploy complex systems and platforms meeting Nevro’s needs and specifications.
  • Plan and implement changes to infrastructure and platforms to enhance performance.
  • Perform complex storage and server data backup, data migration, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Conduct complex platform, software, and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
  • Configure security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.
  • Provide technical support (Service Desk) to users by troubleshooting network or platform performance issues.
  • Document complex procedures and troubleshooting processes related to systems/networks software and hardware.
  • Lead the configuration and maintenance of office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software (e.g., Virus malware protection, office application suites, and/or application software).
  • Collaborate with Business Applications, vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel from other departments.
  • Manage 3rd party vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Train Service Desk and Deskside teams to support Nevro platforms and infrastructure.
  • Work on complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Network with key contacts outside of own area of expertise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Be present in the office 5 days a week.

Role Requirements

  • Education: BS/BA degree in a related discipline and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification: May require certification in the assigned area.
  • Experience: Five plus years of customer service experience.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience or a combination of experience and education/training research in IT.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Sr. IT System Engineer highly preferred.
  • Desirable certifications: MS Office Cert (MOUS), MCP, ITIL (all), Project Management Course.
  • Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels.
  • Capability to mentor other Infrastructure team members.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and influencing skills fostering a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment.
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.
  • Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • High energy level, adaptive, and a strong team player with a good work ethic.
  • Experience in planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in test planning, test case development, and execution.
  • Working knowledge of various technologies and platforms, experience with Enterprise Cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Jira, Sprints, Confluence, Intune, SCCM, and Powershell scripting.
  • Experience with Nutanix, Juniper Switches, Firewall, and Network Architecture.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints.

Target Pay Range

Base range $133,729 - $167,161 plus bonus variable based on revenue generation. The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
