Job Summary & Responsibilities

This position will report to the Director of Finance and will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements. This role handles significant data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid operational background in the accounting function dealing with high levels of operational complexity and transaction volume. The responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • Provide input to ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined via process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Prepare the consolidated Statements of Cash Flows.
  • Review the roll-forward of transactions for equity awards.
  • Manage and review tax schedules with external tax consultants and ensure that all tax filings are accurate and timely.
  • Manage the annual 401(k) audit to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Help manage foreign subsidiary audits.
  • Roll forward and update various quarterly accounting memos.
  • Review access levels for our ERP and the banking applications.
  • Complete quarterly debt compliance analysis worksheets.
  • Perform quarterly EPS calculations
  • Review and tie out quarterly earnings release and earnings script
  • Assist with the corporate insurance application process, ensuring that stakeholders complete all necessary documents and information to meet the application deadlines.
  • Assist with the detailed review of financial information used for external reporting.
  • Assist in the other projects as needed.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the general accounting function.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting, especially revenue recognition accounting standards.
  • Experience working in ERP systems.
  • Expertise with using Excel to handle large datasets.
  • CPA or work experience with a public accounting firm preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable learning new things and owning processes.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving and follow through.
  • Manage multiple priorities well and handle projects with attention to detail.

Target Pay Range

$105,716- $145,360. The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
