    Job Summary & Responsibilities

    The person in this position is primarily responsible for inventory accuracy throughout our operations.  They will identify and implement inventory process improvements while working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the procedures are effective, timely and efficient.  They will train and coach field personnel as well as Nevro’s contractors on inventory control procedures.

     

    • Perform cycle count function with contractors and field personnel.
    • Identify and implement corrective action and procedures to ensure that inventory accuracy and process effectiveness meets company goals.
    • Train new field personnel and contractors on Nevro’s inventory control procedures.
    • Liaison with the sales team to assist with the inventory control function, requires schedule flexibility.
    • Monitor product expiration and ensure adherence to use/return policies, including process development and implementation.
    • Analyze all inventory movement through our operation to ensure system effectiveness and work with other departments on process and control systems improvements, from issue identification to solution implementation.
    • Develop record keeping processes and maintain/distribute suitable metrics on inventory accuracy, includes working with the Finance team on investigation and reporting as required.
    • Backup support for RMA and Materials Coordinator functions as required.
    • Training and off-site review of inventory control processes requires regular travel.
    • May include oversight of less experienced inventory control personnel and assisting in their functions.
    • Coordinate Physical Inventories when necessary.

    Role Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree with Operations or Business coursework. Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control or similar role including working with ERP/Inventory systems
    • Experience in the Medical Device or other highly regulated environment
    • Experience conducting Cycle Counting and Physical Inventories
    • Supervisory or demonstrated coaching/training experience preferred
    • APICS certification desirable
    • Years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Able to work independently to drive multiple project to completion
    • Expert with inventory transactions and control processes in ERP systems, QAD and Salesforce preferred
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • Understanding of business, financial and quality/traceability impact of inventory processes
    • Excellent follow through and organization skills with a focus on accuracy
    • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment to accomplish goals while multitasking
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including conducting training with large groups
    • Travel up to 25% of the time
