    The Associate Director, IT Systems role will report directly to the IT Director with a functional reporting line in to Finance. The primary function of the role is the global strategic planning, integration, and support of Nevro Corp Enterprise Systems

    Role Requirements

    • Responsible for all core Enterprise IT solutions and the team charged with delivery and support of these solutions.
    • Serve as an IT Business Partner to Nevro management. Ensure that team members are well versed in business processes and able to translate business needs into technology solutions.
    • Build strong relationships with business leaders and proactively propose solutions that will progress business objectives.
    • Stay abreast of industry advancements and make recommendations to introduce new technologies where appropriate.
    • Provide technical and solution leadership on large, complex initiatives to ensure on time, high quality delivery – will require matrix management across multiple delivery teams.
    • Mentor team members to ensure appropriate delivery against our systems development lifecycle (SDLC) approach.
    • Manage operational excellence as it relates to continuous improvements, metrics driven results, review and deposition of daily issues.
    • Incorporate a practice to manage release-based upgrades/changes with minimal impact to our internal team members and external customers.
    • Communicate team progress against objectives and operational plans.
    • Manage vendors and vendor relationships, leveraging managed services where appropriate.
    • Accountable for a portion of the departmental operational expense budget, in liaison with the head of IT.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • 7+ years IT management experience and 3+ years managing cloud applications required
    • Ability to provide appropriate leadership in strategic business architecture and technology architecture planning
    • Ability to lead complex, integrated solutions planning, designs, and implementations
    • Proven ability to deliver upon multiple concurrent priorities for functional and/or technical domain
    • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with business partners – client focused approach to work
    • Proven ability to implement and manage vendors and managed services
    • Ability to provide technical guidance to managers and their teams
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork ·
    • Proven ability to manage run rate and project financials
    • Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity experience strongly desired
    • Experience with Data Warehouse or data management and reporting (BI) solutions
    • SOX, HIPPA, and GxP experience
    • Life Science industry experience a plus
    • Primary Applications: QAD, SFDC, ADP, Arena, EtQ, Cornerstone, SharePoint
    • BS of Computer Science or equivalent, Masters Degree a plus
