    The Therapy Optimization Consultant (TOS) serves as the technical expert to deliver optimal patient outcomes. The TOS is the liaison between the Field Clinical Engineers and the sales teams, ensuring best practices are applied to the therapy in a standardized, consistent fashion. 

    Role Requirements


    • Becomes an expert in Nevro’s HF10 therapy as well as training and application of the therapy
    • Trains and educates the field team on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products.
    • Performs in field monitoring of compliance to the Standard Programming Algorithm (SPA)
    • Performs regular collaborative working days (ride alongs) with field teams, reports on findings.
    • Serves as a primary resource for clinical support including, but not limited to; troubleshooting, programming and patient follow up
    • Analyzes programming reports to identify opportunities for sales training and improvements to programming application to ensure optimal patient outcomes.  Acts to address these opportunities through field training and/or reprogramming involving direct patient interaction.  
    • Liaise with the clinical and field engineer team to development/enhance programming algorithms leveraging an evidence based approach built on data and feedback from field experience
    • Provides input to and collaborates with R&D on the development of new products
    • Provides follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications
    • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
    • This position requires driving and travelling to visit customers.  In addition, the use of the telephone and keyboard on a daily basis.  Carrying company equipment on trips will include laptops, chargers, brochures, as well as procedure equipment.
    • Hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, surgical centers.  Travel 50-100% depending on relative locations of customers
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and influence relationships
    • Analytical skills, including statistical analysis
    • PC skills necessary (MS Office/Excel) and experience.
    • Experience in a patient interaction for a minimum of 5 years
    • SCS experience is essential
