    Reporting to the VP, Market Access, Managed Markets, and Reimbursement, the Director has in-depth expertise in developing and implementing strategic and tactical pricing operations in the United States. The role is focused on driving the high level U.S. Pricing Strategy and execution via Pricing Committee while supporting internal and external customer focus in all aspects of the pricing process to help patients get access to HF10 therapy. In addition to driving data based decisions to drive continued revenue growth and profitability, a key aspect of this position is to collaborate with teammates on the Market Access team, Sales Leadership, the broader organization, as well as U.S. facility customers (Hospitals & ASCs). The candidate is highly analytical and skilled at developing relationships as well as working across the organization to achieve Market Access goals that are aligned with sales and marketing strategies.  

    Role Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree (e.g., MS, MPH, or MBA) or equivalent preferred. 

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Minimum 10+ years of work experience in implantable medical device industry, with specific functional responsibility in marketing, market access, sales, sales operations, and/or finance, preferably with experience with commercialization in a high growth company
    • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of U.S. and/or global healthcare systems including health delivery systems (including hospitals and ASCs at the IDN level), GPOs, contracts, and negotiations
    • Strong analytical skills and very comfortable with Microsoft excel,
    • Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for education requirement
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including developing relationships at all levels in an organization and directly influencing business objectives
    • Strong team player who is willing to contribute as needed, can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion
    • Ability to interpret and integrate business strategies into actionable, value-added pricing, contracting and reimbursement initiatives
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
    • Ability to speak up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed
    • Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions independently
    • Based in Nevro HQ in Redwood City, CA
    • Domestic travel up to 20%
