    This position is responsible for leading Australian Professional Education activities. The successful candidate will develop strategy and drive timely execution for physician and other health care professional (HCP) programs to support Nevro Professional Education objectives.


    The position will have significant interaction with Nevro’s field-based sales force and HCP attendees and faculty. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively and execute with attention to detail. This position will report to the Senior Director, Marketing & Professional Education, based in the US.

    Role Requirements

    • Develop training objectives, content, curricula and program plans in collaboration with HCP faculty and Nevro cross functional stakeholders
    • Execute Professional Education training programs including preceptorships, dinner programs, educational summits and other HCP training programs as appropriate.
    • Select and develop sites and faculty as needed to deliver best in class HCP training programs
    • Ensure events are managed and executed in compliance with relevant regulations, company standard operating procedures and industry best practices
    • Partner with legal, finance and compliance to manage faculty and site contracts
    • Provide speaker support (i.e. create speaker decks, prepare speakers, handle speaker requests) for conference symposia
    • Implement and oversee communication plans regarding professional education programs to faculty, attendees and internal Nevro stakeholders
    • Cultivate relationships with current and future thought leaders for potential collaboration
    • Assist with post event follow-up with attendees and faculty, including appropriate invoicing for services rendered
    • Track program performance and implement relevant feedback into future programs
    • Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned

    Skills and Knowledge

    • 8+ years in medical device or biotech industries
    • Prior experience in clinical marketing and/or professional education
    • Professional education and clinical marketing experience
    • Strong team player who can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
    • Ability to speak up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed
    • Strong and creative thinker who is intellectually curious
    • Sound decision making capabilities
    • Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities
    • Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, clinical & sales partners
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership
    • This position requires driving and travelling to visit customers and the use of the telephone and keyboard on a daily basis. Carrying company equipment on trips will include laptops, chargers, brochures and related equipment, i.e. programmers, demo kits, etc.
    • Must be comfortable working in hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, surgical centers
    • Travel up to 50%, with more travel needed early during training and on boarding
