Overview

The Software Intern shall participate in research and product development activities. These activities can range from product concept prototyping to product verification testing. This position will apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices for software tools and product components development.

 

  • Contribute to the development of software for an implantable medical device and the supporting tools used to manage the system.
  • Intern will learn about Developing software in a regulated environment in accordance with internal operating procedures and external standards and regulations.
  • Development activities may include definition of requirements, design and implementation, or verification and validation.
  • Develop software based tools to assist in development and testing.
  • Works in accordance with quality system procedures and actively enforces its objectives.

 

Role Requirements

 

Working toward a M.S. or B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar degree.

 

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of C#/Python (.NET) is required
  • Experience with data storage and retrieval (file I/O, relational db, etc) is preferred
  • Cross-platform development of offline mobile apps is preferred
