Overview

The QA Compliance Intern shall work cross-functionally to review events and complaints as set forth by the FDA and other regulatory agencies. Requires internal and external follow-up to assure complete and accurate event files, complaint detail, and product performance information. Intern may also be asked to help with initial failure analysis of complaints based on experience.

 

  • Ensure complaint investigations are adequate, accurate, detailed and timely
  • Perform failure analysis of returned devices and troubleshoot electronic components.
  • Able to work in a regulated environment in accordance with internal operating procedures and external standards and regulations.
  • Perform tasks to obtain adequate information to ensure proper documentation and closure of each complaint.

 

Role Requirements

  • Working towards an M.S. or B.S. in technical or science degree. Preferably Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Have at least one year completed as part of technical or science degree.
  • Preferable candidates have 2-3 years completed.
  • Completed at least 2 lab classes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with good presentation and technical writing and be able to work in a team environment or independently
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
