The Senior IT Applications Administrator is responsible for maintenance, administration, configuration and support of all IT Applications/Systems at Nevro.


  • Participate in monitoring and maintenance of business applications and production environment and respond to exceptions by initiating the correct actions to meet the highest availability targets.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge about Nevro's internal applications and their interactions to identify and analyze problems.
  • Make suggestions on improvements and participate in implementation of approved improvements/changes throughout the supported applications architecture.
  • Develop documentation and procedures for identified scenarios
  • Identify problems and participate in problem management resolution by collecting and tracking data and progress. May resolve issues regarding on line transactions, system status and procedures, downtime procedures in accordance with Nevro’s standard operation procedures.
  • Review moderately complex problem situations and participate in the identification of opportunities for improvement to processes, procedures or tools.
  • Ensure user satisfaction by providing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution services



Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience with large scale applications/system environment

Skills and Knowledge

  • 5+ years’ work in progressively sophisticated roles with emphasis on IT Application/Systems, delivery or maintenance
  • 5+ years’ experience in the medical device industry a plus
  • Industry experience with operational exposure across primary corporate functions (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.) preferred
  • Specific experience working with Business Enterprise Solutions not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Complaints Managements Systems, RMA, Solidworks, Altium, and/or related types of solutions.
  • Experience with database management (RDBMS) and Perl/Shell Scripting
  • Solid Experience with Windows and Linux based Servers
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to support opportunity identification and business case development
  • Team oriented and ability to build relationships and trust at all levels of an organization and across functions
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or relevant Change Management Process framework
  • Experience working in an SOx, GxP, FDA and/or Medical Device regulated environment
  • Experience interfacing with external partners (e.g., Service Providers, Vendors, consultants, etc.)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
