Overview

The Senior Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate Strategy will have a key role in the Company’s investor relations strategy and will provide insight to management and cross-functional teams to guide corporate decision-making through quantitative and qualitative analyses.

 

The Senior Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate Strategy will have significant interaction with the executive, commercial, clinical, R&D and finance teams, as well as the field-based sales force, and must demonstrate clear ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.

 

  • Develop strategic focus and content for investor conferences, management scripts, Q&A, town halls, industry conferences, investor days, Board decks and other corporate events
  • Manage quarterly earnings call process including calendaring, preparation materials and review
  • Maintain strong company and sector expertise. Stay current on all company and related industry activity in order to be responsive to investors and keep management up to date
  • Build and maintain relationships with analysts, investors and other industry contacts by keeping them up to date on key topics and effectively communicating the company’s vision, business strategies and market developments
  • Manage drafting and release of corporate communications
  • Plan and ensure successful execution of non-deal roadshows, investor days and other corporate events
  • Own annual corporate calendar with input from Finance, Legal, Commercial and Human Resources
  • Manage, update and analyze the near-term and long-term internal revenue forecasting model as well as industry market model
  • Support the Senior Director of Corporate Development & IR in creation of Company’s 5 year strategic plan, including long range planning process, corporate priorities, trade-off decision-making, corporate DCF/valuation model and development of individual department goals
  • Develop key strategic initiatives, goals and objectives across the company and track departments productivity and progress against goals
  • Track and report competitive intelligence to relevant departments by listening to earnings calls, speaking with analysts, attending conferences, following news flow and reading reports
  • Analyze financial and strategic implications of portfolio decisions and recommend action
  • Lead evaluations and conduct in-depth diligence, market research and financial analyses on potential business opportunities
  • Identify, track and monitor clinical pipelines, competitive landscape and investment/collaboration opportunities
  • Build cross-functional partnerships and engage in and lead cross-functional initiatives with Nevro team members including R&D, clinical and regulatory, commercial, finance and legal departments

 

Role Requirements

  • At least one of the following preferred: Investor Relations, Finance, Investment Banking, Corporate Development/Strategic Alliances, Venture Capital experience in medtech/healthcare industry
  • MBA or 3-5 years of experience in medtech/healthcare industry
